A Case of Nasolabial Cyst After Orthognathic Surgery

Nasolabial cyst is a rare, non-odontogenic that occurs in the submucosa of anterior nasal floor. Its most likely origin known to be remnants nasolacrimal duct. The patient usually comes hospital for swelling or pain nasolabial area, and diagnosis made by combining clinical features, radiologic imaging, histological test. commonly used treatment surgical excision via sublabial approach. A 40-year-old male, who had undergone maxillary orthognathic surgery malocclusion 11 years ago, visited our folds persisted year. large with size 4.8×3.3×3.1 cm was confirmed on paranasal sinus CT, performed pathologic finding lining consisting ciliated pseudostratified columnal epithelium goblet cells, consistent characterization cyst. No recurrence observed during follow-up 3 months.
